First attempt at still life. This seductive avocado was produced by my grandmother's avocado tree. Yes, they grow on trees, and they are quite delicious.

Question: Why continue maintaining an avocado tree? Because this is California, where they're grown for export, meaning they can be expensive at the supermarket.
