https://www.furaffinity.net/view/9257040 -- this is the last (third) traditional pic I drew.
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/8554147 -- this is the first (note the date), it's mixed media (pencil sketch, then digital finish), and the first pic I ever drew (if you don't count these two quick scribbles -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/8360451 and https://www.furaffinity.net/view/8516196) since elementary school -- note the date.
So far, I drew whooping three traditional pics and about 25 digital, if you count those two scribbles, a few poses for pics commissioned from other people and the like...

The only three things you need for that are:
1) TIME. It took me like... I dunno, over 10 hours to draw this one. Granted, I drew one for Nekomata much quicker, in what little calm time I had in the trains when trainhopping Bremen to Berlin (with a 8-minute stop between them), but I had thought it up in detail even before going TO Germany. And this one, I thought it out for a while, too.
2) Will and effort. You need to actually try. Practice makes perfect. Granted, I have an awesome mind's eye -- it's totally excruciating to be able to /see/ -- and I don't exaggerate here, I actually SEE what I imagine -- and not being able to draw it to the matching quality... But it still is relatively easy to do if you take care.
3) References. Seriously -- references, references and 1000x references. Looking back to item 1, I also spent about 3 hours making the 3D model until I was satisfied with the pose. I also went through a zillion google search images for other pics -- like, when I draw feet or if something feels hairy when I draw it... I am pretty good at hands, but I tend to screw up feet too much. I think this is the ONLY pic where I didn't...
