Dooru hears voices from dolls, plushies, and toys. They always tend to try and lead Dooru, or others, to dangerous locations, or ask him to say cruel things. As a result, he has gotten a reputation for being a cursed child for hearing these things, and actually listening to them, and is alienated from everyone. However, Dooru can’t understand why he is treated like that, it’s not him being the mean one, it’s the dolls. They say they're his friends, so he listens to them. Whenever he meets someone, he’ll always act so sweet despite the fact he knows he’ll be mistreated hoping one day someone will not label him as cursed for something he can’t control and maybe be his friend.

People can be so cruel.
