One of the founding members of Mansfield University's Kenshinkan Kendo Club, Tiara Lynn Gagliano, passed away the other day. I am lead to believe her passing was generally peaceful and she died in her sleep after some sudden and entirely unexpected health complications.
Tiara was a fierce woman: her Native American heritage earned her the nickname of Little Red Squirrel, and she wore her title proudly. Outspoken and proud, she pushed our club way beyond where we expected it to go. She brought our club to life with her fire.
This is a small piece to honor her passing, including our club's motto.
Rest in Peace, Ti. We miss you.
Osame-to.
