beagles! i has a dashund beagle mix here at home, but she's an ol' chubchub. as for ron, i don't think he was happy to see me, he went out the door soon after i took the pic.

Oh he knows I can see him.. he was just too tired and comfy to go outside.. though wasn't long before he actually did take off out his little doggy door. X3 he probably hoped his musk would drive me away.

I want to get a fox one day. Is this one a domestic or a tamed wild fox? His coloring is gorgeous.

tamed I think.. but it's not my fox, that's Albi Azul's fox ronron, from his youtube channel. he lives only bout 45 mins from me, so I got to visit a couple of times. :P

Ah. I'm looking for a domestic breeder in the US. Was kinda hoping he was from a breeder so I could look em up. Must be fun to see the animal so many people identify with.

eeh, supposedly yes though after talking with albi, I think I remember him saying the breeder he got ron from wasn't in business anymore, though still has many exotic pets. also you'll have to check with your state's regulations if you're even allowed to keep them as pets, some states actually only allow foxes for the sole purpose of farming for fur pelts.

Oregon doesn't really care about any species that's native and plentiful. Foxes run around here more than coyotes and raccoons due to the healthy rabbit and vole populations so it's fine up here. It's also fine to own black bears, bobcats, and red deer.

mm.. fine to own maybe but you still oughta check to make sure it's not illegal to bring in exotics from other states. some areas are particularly strict on that too, so they don't get an overpopulation of a troublesome critter. x3

True, true. I'll check later. Once I get my own place, I plan to get an exotic and foxes are definitely an option, so are the also legal binturongs and coatis.
