A long over-due commission for Corey, a cool guy I met over at this past Morphicon. He basically pointed at another piece of mine on the table and said "I want that, but with my character" and went with it. My first attempt just wasn't going anywhere, and being quite disappointed with it, I started over and came up with this, which turned out much better than the original. Hopefully he likes it, I actually had quite a bit of fun painting it up and trying out new things with it.
edit: If you want to really see this, you may have to full view. For some reason the compression really destroyed the medium view of this. I'll have to look into how to get FAs compression not to chew up my pieces in the future. Thanks!

Another wonderful piece. I love the lithe, powerful Doberman- a freshing change from the muscle-bound hothead Blitz of Road Rovers! Heheh! Though if I had to be the nasty, nasty critic that all artists fear, I'd draw attention to the arms- the perspective could use a little more work... but who am I to comment? I SUCK! Whoo!

you really are working on that painterly feel obviously combined with a good sense of design and balance that I seem to lack ^^; its being able to see the big picture that makes your stuff pleaseing in the final product because you just seem to know what you're doing... *do you?* ;3
It's great to see that you've finally got time to yourself so that you can finish up all these drawings and such. aaaaannnndddd I hope your room situation is going well too since you've got time for that too
