Time for a little history lesson.
Back when the English colonies were fighting for independence, things were somewhat calmer here in Europe. In those days, when
imperfectflame streamed, I received a hamdwritten letter by carrier pigeon, sailed the Batavia over the Channel, and made my way by carriage to his home watch him paint on canvas. It was a lot of hassle, but was always fun.
During one of these old style art streams, I proposed an art trade with him. He did his half of the trade soon, and I did the first part of my half of the trade too ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8022710/ ), but then I really lost my drawing mood for a long time. Now, in this age of internet and drunk jockeys, I have finally completed the second part of our trade.
In thsi part, Fable takes pity on the Furret and tries to barter with the Vulpix that she'd cook a nice warm meal if the Vulpix agreed to not eat the Furret; an agreement is made

Dear Viktor;
I'm sorry to hear that you were shipwrecked for so long!
I was wondering if you were having a hard time ferrying the inclement seas that parted us, for I had not heard from your messaging pidgeons in a one-year, and furthermore English weather is decidedly notorious. But now I see; surviving on an island with, I fear, nought but Flareons, Furrets and mice to consume, and subsequently staging a coup d'état must have been quite the feat! Bravo, my Glaceon ally.
Additionally, your painting from the future finds me in great spirits. It is a crafted masterpiece of situational humour with accurate depictions of the very nature of the characters rendered within. I very much appreciate how it is apparent that we (Fable and also myself) seem to have stumbled across quite the predicament so shortly after having brewed a cup of tea, hesitating not to help out the ferretesque Pokémon. Much celebration is to be had as to the resultant outcome!
My compliments on this art; please pass my thanks on to future-you for completing the trade. I hope we can trade again, when you eventually make it back home.
Your friend,
imperfectflame
