It's the 21th of December 2012.

Our paths are so very different. Some are at the beginning of their journey and some near the end. What connects us is this feeling, this knowledge, that there is more to this world, to everything around us ... to life itself. And yet, we are scattered over the world. There is no obvious "we".
No matter how lonesome we all might feel at times and what stories we have to tell we share that special awareness and love for our kind.
What I want to invite you to has nothing to do with doomsday prophecies. I want to invite you all to a moment of awareness and appreciation. December the 21st is the darkest day of the year. We are in the same boat and on the darkest day, let us remember those who are our friends.
On December 21st, take your time to say aloud or whisper the names of those you want to remember. Alone, together with friends, prepared or spontaneous. Some might want to have a list of those they wish to call out at the ready and maybe you want to choose a song that holds an empowering meaning to you. Then light a candle as symbol of we all being a light in the darkness for each other...
End the calling of names with "I remember you!".
Those words inspired me - so now I'm sitting on a chair with a candle in front of myself, thinking about what makes the life on this only too often unfair and cruel world worth living. And yes I think it is worth living.
Friendships are the reason. They are the sparks of life in us.
Whether we are thousands of miles separated of each other or not, or whether we like or do the same things in our lives or not, the idea alone matters.
That was the reason for this drawing and for those words which shall remember me forever of those very special people in my life - and I hope that it forms a piece of memory for you all as well.
Please notice: I truly love every single one of you – not only if you are on this image – and surely not only for the reason mentioned here! (If I’d mention the good things one everyone, this submission would never end!)
Liz: You are my oldest friend here and you never failed to cause me a smile on my muzzle whenever you talked to me!
Sys: Your green mind is probably crazier than mine and that means a lot, so you caused me some of the funniest moments ever xP Oh and dun cut mah tail! ._.
Fuzzy: My dear hermy Sis, you are probably the kindest creature I’ve ever met: Always open and always just as sweet and close to me as you are funny, smart and adorable. I trust you with all my heart and my life <3
Con: You are the greatest gryphon I’ve ever met and whatever we have been doing together, it was awesome!
Selicia: You are by far the newest person I’ve met here, yet I’m sure a pretty strong friendship can grow ^.^
Kas: Sometimes funnily crazy but mostly just sweet and adorable – like when you are nomming my wing o3o - you are one of the cutest draggys around!
Gale: Always nice and friendly to me just like smart and funny you have cheered me up many times and I know I can trust you :)
Flame: You are still the coolest buddy I’ve met and who I’ve had lots of fun with! Would cuddle you every day if I were at your place! xD
Shino: Whenever I hear from you, my heart beats a bit faster >//< And that not only because the adventures we had, were some of the greatest things I was ever allowed to have~
Scurry: The funny and open minded soul you are has touched me from the first moment and I will never forget that feeling again!
Hunter: Always sweet and ready for many cuddles you have taken a part of my heart ^.^
Wisty: My dear white-golden bro, despite being an ice dragon you never failed to warm me up as I cuddled into your wings :)
Nogard: Smart, funny and often on my wavelength you will always be my sweet, colourful dragon buddy who I know I can discuss everything with!
Saron: Cute, blue and always about to make people laugh, that’s the best way to describe you xP
Sarah: You were a very special person to me from the first day we met and now you are my little sister who I will always hold dear to me ^.^
Aki: You are the greatest wolf who I ever stumbled across! Whatever we do together, it’s fun and that shall never change ;)
I remember you!
