My mask, body suit not done yet. Made with two-part cold-cast foam, fake fur, paint, and a taxidermy jaw set. Forgive the odd-looking paint job, I had to use a toothbrush. She's a wolf.

That particular mask has a chin strap inside that operates off of my own chin. Hard to get it to fit right, though, so I doubt I will be using it in future masks.

Football chin strap, carefully fitted against my own chin. It was a total pain, and I don't quite recommend it.

And by the way, how do you make your heads? Do you use balaclava or mesh method?

Both, whichever works best. I use balaclavas for the realistic masks like that, and I prefer plastic mesh for things made out of foam. I just... don't really like working with soft foam balaclava.

Its a foam that comes in two parts, and you have to mix it. It then expands in the mold, and fills in all the detail once it hardens.
