Do you know much about railguns? They're roughly the same thing as a Gauss canon. A hunchback could take a good lickin' from one of those before going down. My Streak SRM's would knock your unit around a bit, making it difficult to keep a steady target lock. I currently, sadly, though, top out at about 84.6 KPH.

-You- don't seem to know much about them. >_> A railgun fires rounds at hypersonic speed via magnetic rails, and does damage through sheer kinetic impact. Mechwarrior guns could barely -scratch- a Space Marine Land Raider, yet a salvo from a Broadside Battlesuit team could -gut- it. And that's assuming yous SRM could even -hurt- a battlesuit, especially an iridium-plated one firmly rooted to the ground. And even then, the Hammerhead Gunship could outrun -and- outmaneuver the hunchback, striking it from any angle necessary with either a massive railgun, ion cannon, plasma cannons, fusion cannons, or a missile barrage.
I think you -highly- underestimate the sheer power level of Warhammer 40k technology; literally, they're -FORTY THOUSAND YEARS- ahead of us.
