After the rat had been properly secured, it didn't take long for him to be made part of the mountain dragon who, being used to having to cope with limited options for prey, had a digestive system capable of breaking down even bone if given enough time and Rodent served as more than sufficient fuel to ignite the meagre sticks that had been gathered together and while it wasn't a perfect source of warmth, the dragon casually lay on his back letting the heat of the fire coax him into a blissful sleep until the snowstorm abated and he could move on to hunt for even more delicious prey.

An awesome conclusion to this comic. I just love seeing Aris make use of the rat in order to fuel his flame and keep himself warm until the storm passes.
The lighting from the fire on Aris' body looks great, and I love that close-up shot of his face, capturing the satisfaction he has with the lighting of the fire.
He also just looks so cute in that final frame, that I'm sure Rodent was okay with his sacrifice helping Aris out like this. ;)
Thanks so much for taking this commission and doing such an awesome job with it.
