This is the lead-in to an idea that 
kaemantis and I kicked around a couple weeks ago, namely a match between two of the worst crews in the academy: my Rattata boys and her Team Meanies. The actual fight will be coming up in the next part, but I wanted to set it up first and do a little something with a couple other small plot fragments in the process.

I basically just wanted to do the opposite of what happened in the game that I enjoy so much and probably shouldn't. ;> The Gardevoir was two-timed by the Gengar and all she ever did was love him!! Yeah, right. Over here we know the score...'Embrace' Pokemon indeed! According to the downlow she's been 'Embracing' every dude from here to Hoenn! ;D
Arnie and Ollie are the only two students that Eddie has actual dislike towards, so he's likely to back anyone who is looking to mess them up in some way.
As for Remi, he doesn't care for (or about) either side so he's just expecting a hilariously bad match to result from all of this. Which is rather likely. :)
