Oh, this is interesting. Is it just the tip fooling me, or does this species actually have a furred beak?
How much have you figured out about them? Habitat, diet, habits?
It's a real pity you got lazy on the ears. I really like the shape of the ears on the other take of the specias you have in your gallery. The eyes are sort of creepy looking. Are they inteded to be? If not, a tiny spot of light somewhere at the top would probably help add some life and cuteness, even if you're not shading the piece.

Yes, the species has a furred beak. They're covered in scales, but fur grows in between the scales.
I have figured quite a bit about them. Like, they eat mostly fish and berries, but sometimes small birds and reptiles.
They live in packs of 5-10, lead by a more anthro-like unknown species. There are often more than one anthro-like unknown species, which eventually leave to make a new pack.
They avoid humans, and if they catch one studying them or coming near them, they will kill it. That's why they are called the unknown species.
When they are born, they have normal eyes, but as they grow more mature, their eyes turn blacker, when fully mature their eyes are fully black.
Sorry for the bit of text, just wanted to answer some questions about this guy. I will probably make a journal or a reference with this species.
