After gagging on all the pukey kyootsy wootsy romance over on Wielder's page, I was inspired to draw Imperial Officers from Star Wars. hey I am a Uniform Nerd.

There is a bit of a thought on that. The Imperials were very chauvinistic, int eh Star Wars Universe, in that their Services were Human and Male only. I was ALMOST going to do them all as Wolves, but limiting the Imerpaisl to Charismatic, mamalian Megafauna might work if there is any intersection with Wielder's work. In high school though, I had the Nazis as exclusively Canines in a comic that like all others , was never finished.
Oh.. swamped with RL work, for a change. Though taking a week to visit the family in Santa Rosa tomorrw at way to early in the morning, I'll be back on the 28th. otherwise trying tog et product for sale out on Second Life as well, But this work for the lawyers certainly is interesting, Industrial Auger took a guys foot off, so I am making the auger XD.

I presume you are making a 3d model of the auger for the lawyers to show to the jury with suitable squelching sounds to convince them to award enough for the guy and the lawyers to live comfortably for the rest of their lives?
and Yah, the imperial navy did have snazzy looking uniforms. But,in my expereince, the snazzier looking the uniform, the more uncomfortable and more hassle there was to wear it properly.

Pretty much. However because the Auger doesn't have safety interlocks when the guard plates are removed off the top of it, the suit is against the manufacturer, rather than the employer. he guy I think doesn't want to lose his job, after he gets his prosthetic paid for and fitted.
Actually the Imperial Uniform is pretty much on the scale of wearability around that of the M1912 Austrian Uniform as it has the same "Princess cut" back seams (Also seen in Confederate Civil War officer's tunics). And in the first movie you see the principle actors wearing "collar liners" so that the high stand collars were not as scratchy. Most band collar, and stand collar uniforms will have this feaature. even the Soviets mandated a daily washing of a cotton collar liner for their Gymnastorkas, along with shaving as an indicator of troop discipline. Keeps "Ring Around the Collar" from marring the appearance. And the Jodhopur breeches are fairly comfortable. The boots however. you have to spend to get a good fit.

I bow to your superior knowledge of the subject. *laughs* I know just enouigh to get me in trouble with the thread-counters. Around my area it it revolutionary war reenactors, so there isn't actually uniforms on the american side. I feel sorry for the poor guys who play the redcoats though. 100% wool uniforms that have to be just so. *shakes head*
