A versatile wearable talisman representing the coyote. Huehuecoyotl has been on my mind lately. A trickster from of Tezcatlipoca, Huehuecoyotl is known for playing pranks on people, and often ending up on the wrong side of the stick. He is also known as a lively personality and a great story teller as well as a musician. Although he is mischievous, he is a lighthearted and fun loving lord.
This piece is very versatile. It can be worn around the neck, on the hip, on the forearm, or really anywhere you like.
It's fashioned from the tip of a coyote tail and some buckskin and cowhide leather. It has a pair of fangs dangling off some leather strips and a circular bone bead which represents the sun.
This comes with black leather cord long enough to wear as a neck piece, at request I can make a strip leather belt for $2 more, for $7 more I can make a leather belt adorn with several beads, teeth, stones and bones.
