Oh, I agree. The idea itself is hardly original, of course, but I really like what Iko has done with this and she really did capture the moment perfectly. You can really feel poor Deborah's struggle to stay awake just long enough to get to the end, and it's such a warm and comfortable picture in every way, too. It really shows how much Megan loves her daughter, and how, for all her faults, she really does try her best for the girl. At least I think so.
No, there really isn't. For all her faults, Megan loves her daughter dearly and I think it really shows.
You realize, of course, that it's partly thanks to you and Liane that I wanted to show Megan's motherly side again. Liane and her daughters are always so cute, so I just had to.

Oh, if there's anything I'm picky about when it comes to my characters, it's making sure that my rabbits are drawn to look like rabbits. It drives me nuts to see rabbits drawn with paw pads or dog noses. Of course, credit where credit is due, the artist who drew this knows her stuff, too.
It's always good to know I'm not the only one who cares about those details, too.

Omg. I freak out when I see paw pads or dog noses on rabbits. I mean, COME ON. I have eight rabbits of my own, granted, and get a lot of reference material from them, but READ A BOOK. Rabbits aren't anything remotely like dogs or cats, ergo, they don't share the same physiological make-up as them. Look at their PLANTIGRADE feet, for instance...geez. I could go on for hours, haha... :D
That's a good question. I hadn't really thought of a specific book for her to read. But given that Megan is basically my alter ego, she'd probably go for something like The Hobbit or The Last Unicorn, or maybe even some of Mary Stewart's Arthurian novels, which are some of the books my parents read to me when I was Deborah's age.
