I dropped the 'pile of badges' concept because 1) I didn't want to get in trouble for using other artists' work without their permission and 2) the design looked a little too 'busy.'
Instead, I went for a 'con badge being worn' design. As taking the picture of myself actually wearing the badge proved to be a royal pain, I hung the shirt and badge and did it that way.
