I've been working on Lionsgate City again, on the illustration end this time. This is half of the mercenaries that you will be able to hire to run your train.
My general direction with this project has been Steampunk Mad Max, and so the characters have titles rather than names. each of them has a thematic special ability, The Upgrader for instance can use metals that you've picked up to increase the abilities of your other characters, The Organ Grinder can send hhis flying wind-up monkeys to steal goods from other player, and The Gambler can take a chance after mining to double or lose half of the ore mined.
The game has been playing quite smoothly, and we've seen quite a few cool emergent things happen in the playtests. I'm just in the process of rewriting the rules, and then I will release a PnP version for blind playtests.
