Basically, he's got a real job as an engineer. But he still keeps his hand in by hitting a couple of cons a year. He shared a table with us at Emerald City Comic Con this past year, and I know he's coming back for this year's ECCC as well.

Because it's a lot of work and very time-consuming. For people with money but no free time, it's usually expedient to just pay someone else to do it.
