Trust me, the first reason is the primary. Me and my little Hyundai Elantra know from experience. Unfortunately for me mom gets the jeep, and since its a V8 with all time 4WD it gets horrific gas mileage to boot.

I'm sure you will agree with a fellow upstate NYer (Im from rochester)

98% of drivers in snow, flip out and cant drive worth a damn.

The other 2% of drivers are from western new york who say, "Hold my beer, watch this...."

Most of my buddies are those that are in the 98% that only think they're in the 2%, so I tell them 'Alright I'll watch...over there...on that roof.'
