"Gluttons are dark creatures whose only joy in life is to devour. They have large dislocating jaws that allow them to swallow large things whole, sometimes living creatures. There are only 12 Gluttons in the world at any given time. They can be killed but its fairly hard. Your best bet is to catch them when their bellies are bloated and distended with a recent meal. Being full slows them and makes them sleep for days at a time, but when they hibernate they usually bury themselves deep in a well hidden den to prevent attack.
Their limbs float and can pull away from their bodies to help them catch and hold down faster more agile prey so that they can have an easier time swallowing them. Their sense of smell is like a bloodhounds; acute and unmatched in its tracking ability. Their sight is poor in the daylight but sharp and brilliant after the sun goes down."
