This was done three years ago, but for worse reasons than why I've decided to post it tonight. Anyhow, the overall feel applies this year it seems. Got fucked over at the day job. If I'm lucky I'll get a day off between now and xmas and I'm already well into this week of work. So. Yeah, one could say I'm feeling a little bummed out. ;p
I've been trying to look at the bright side (ie: possible overtime pay) but right now, thats not helping my mood any. The promise of money only goes so far..
But I do believe I'll stick to the one part of the holiday that rarely fails me, going for that late late night drive on xmas eve and just.. take in the silence. :)

Eh, I remember that kind of thing as well a few years back. Was stuck out here away from all family with no money to fly back and see them, working at Starbucks to make rent as they had no jobs for biochemists in the area. Holidays can be nice and sometimes nasty.
At least you could look at it this way: you're not trapped in the ornament any more! If we fixed it, you'd be stuck playing decoration in there again!

:( *hugs* Im sorry. If it makes you feel any better because of some things that happened, I wont be able to go see my family this year for Christmas. Im lucky enough to atleast have one person to spend it with but it is my first year not being at my parents.
