Drawing this was a nice distraction from all the schoolwork I've been doing. I can't wait for Christmas break.

This is gorgeous. I love the simplistic yet very detailed look you gave everything. The harsh brushstrokes against the tree contrast nicely with the smooth shading and detail you put into the rest of the piece. I like it! Well done!

I've had this similar imagining with a Morenatsu fanfiction set in the winter I've been struggling to plan and put together.

This is really very intimate, rell. Well done. I like the little cigarette butt just withering away in the snow. Really goes well with the tears.

Upon continued looking, I can only criticize that the proportion of the mailbox looks off. It's almost as if you were referring to the telephone pole in the back for reference to vertical plane. Also, Diego's tail looks off-place and gives off a strange form.

Regardless, this is probably one of your most ambitious drawings, and the final outcome feels so earnest which, I feel, is the most important element in art. So take my comments with a pinch of salt.

Whoops you're right about the tail. I'll fix it when I have the time. I was trying something with the mailbox and looking at it now it is a bit off. I'm pretty sure it's too late to fix that now though haha.
