Whew...! Well, it's been a long while, hasn't it, my friends?
After a month of no posting, I finally return with the picture that had me stalled for over a month! Now presenting to you: Kaiden!

Kaiden is my first emo character, developed roughly in the month of January with a lil' bit of help from a good friend of mine: http://xday-dreamerx.deviantart.com. =^.^= (kitty face)

Kaiden grew up in a family where--as one would normally expect, the mother and father didn't really care too much for one another. His mother was an uneducated high-school drop-out, while his father was a veteran who served in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. His mother would smoke in the house and live off of the pay her husband would make, while the dad ran the house, assigned chores, and pretty much kept things in order.
Since his father was so picky about the way things should get done, and because his mother was "so darn lazy," his father kicked his mom out of the house, signed the divorce papers, and said goodbye forever. His mother never wanted anything to do with Kaiden or his father anymore, and since then never kept in contact--not even for Kaiden's birthday, or even a Christmas card... =(
Since then, Kaiden's been living with his dad. Everyday is a living hell for him. His father is extremely possessive, and won't let Kaiden get away with -anything- he hasn't approved yet. The scars that line Kaiden's back are proof of his father's severity towards his son. Kaiden doesn't care--he could really care less if his dad died anyways. He carries no emotional attachment for his father, nor for himself. When leaving the house, his father demands to know where he is going. Kaiden, with no thought or emotions towards him, would respond to his question. His father would tell him immediately "no," or assign tons of chores. If Kaiden had already done them and told him, "DON'T YOU TALK BACK TO ME!!" would be his father's only reply.
Kaiden doesn't care too much for anyone--or anything. The only sane person he cares about is his mother's sister--his Aunt Louise. She is the only one he could really ever call his "mother," despite their indirect relation. She is only his half-aunt, but more of a mother than anyone else. She seldom visits, but likes to keep in touch with him to make sure he's doing alright. Since she is his mother's sister, however, Kaiden's father refuses to let Kaiden near her, talk to her, or speak of her. Still, he will often go to visit her when out of school, and face the wrath of his father afterwards. And for some reason--after all of this--Kaiden hasn't been taken away from his father to be put into a foster home.................... =
Kaiden likes to play his guitar, -with- earphones on. Guitar Hero was a blessing for him when it came out--as you can be sure. His computer is older--around a 333MhZ Pentium II and a 667MhZ PentiumIII GateWay 2000. His computer is full of problems, but it's just enough to talk on MSN, type up a report, use email, and Solitaire. = That's about it...
Kaiden loves to write poetry, and is an excellent poet. Unfortunately, he doesn't share it with anyone, and anyone who finds it is given a hurtful glare as he snatches it back away from them.
Kaiden enjoys peaceful walks out behind his house, in the woods which lead to an old Revolutionary War site, rumored to have a banshee haunting the woods by the name of Kayla. After a terrible experience in the woods one evening after ticking Kayla off, Kaiden found himself stuck in the woods, suffering from a similar case as what happened to the British soldiers that killed Kayla over 200 years ago. It took some time before Kayla would let him leave--she only accepted him in her woods because she felt he was suffering the same pain as she was the day she died.
Kaiden goes to school wearing his earphones and listening to his mp3 player. His words are often brash, although he doesn't mean anything bad by it--he's just... misunderstood is all. Even so, his personality doesn't allow anyone bouncy, bubbly, or energetic to get close to him. He despises happy people, and would gladly ignore the world around him if he could. Well, maybe not gladly........ He is lonely, but doesn't have a plan for the here and now. He doesn't know how to express himself to others, but he is a very observant individual. Nature around him and urban life is his passion, and the guitar is his means of expressing himself to the world.
Kaiden plays in a band, along with Destiny, Zenith the cat, Ellis's brother Dustin, and Jeannie the cat. Together, they play rock/punk music, with Kaiden as lead guitarist and singer. I'll be posting more about him and the band as I continue to draw them all further, but... well--at least I got him down on paper. =^.^=
