The thing I loved most about the actor who played this character (name escapes me atm) is that he basically set out to do an impression of the Ed Wynn, who just happen to voice the Mad Hatter in the original 1950's Alice in Wonderland film :)
Everything about this character just seemed like it was channeling him, and I totally dug it :)
