A Harry Potter themed bug, everyone cheer! I was going to paint the entire house crest, but decided it might get to cluttered. It was painted pretty quickly, since it's the last week, and I had finals.
Last year tons of cicadas swarmed my home, so I collected quite a few of the left over shells. The shells were cleaned and painted, this is the result.
Something pretty cool about these guys is they still stick to clothing. You can still wear them even after they have been painted. I also figured out how to reposition them, so I can pose them any way I want to. I'll probably make more of these when I get another chance.
