This is the grown-up version of the coral reef egg from my current round of egg adoptables (round 9).

I upgraded this particular commission to a full illustration with background at no charge as a special thank you/Xmas present because the owner of this character has been such an awesome client the past few weeks. :)

He has a lobster for a companion, since as a person who owned a lobster plushie as a kid (the name of my lobster plush was "Daddy" for some reason, BTW), I know that lobsters make good partners in crime! Yes, I know uncooked lobsters aren't usually red... but brown lobsters just aren't colorful enough. This dragon needed a companion just as colorful as he. >_<
