Goodbye, Princess
Before my birthday tomorrow, I want to say I lost a beloved cat a week or two ago. We first got her shortly after moving to West Virginia and although she wasn't our first and not my first cat, I treated her like she was to the point of calling her "princess".
I loved her very much, even after she got a stroke and mouth cancer three years ago. It was painful seeing her condition slowly worsen. Before passing, she went two days without food. She got a nice bath where Mom told me she purred and didn't hesitate. The day she passed, but before I was told, tears were already going my eyes. She lived for 11 years and will never be replaced but live on in my artwork like RJ.
The bunny in the pic is my love, freaksword. <3

Upon seeing this, I was instantly reminded of a song, the recollection theme from Tegami Bachi, my favorite anime. Then I mentally injected the atmosphere from that world into your picture. Before I knew it, this whole new scene was playing out in my head, in great detail. I don't know why it happened, but it did. The picture just fit, and everything flowed from there.
