Symbols are just symbols. (When I made my original ref/char background they were able to transform hir. But here more recently I've decided to leave that more a non cannon role play aspect for fun times). The new story is that shi recieved them by hir sire who got them while they were out with star fleet exploring a unknown world (hir site managed to get them back after MANY tests were done to make sure they weren't radioactive, figure out their orgian, ect. Aka As of yet I haven't decided if they mean anything/or do anything but am bsing my way around xD) and gave them to hir after a long ordeal where Aurora was kidnapped by space pirates during a family vacation to earth (while shi was a cub. Also how shi managed to get hir spots but more on that later when I am done with my background story). Shi never takes them off because only a few months after shi recieved them hir sire died in a accident...
