This is the third set I've made for OldFedFox.
1st set was removed but the removal process made them nearly useless.
I then made a 2nd generation one that looked great to me. But was wrong in that it had 8 teeth between canines and the "rule" is 6 which I did not know.
So those were destroyed being removed for the new ones I just completed.
You'd think the old "third time is the charm" thing would have made these come out good.
To deal with the canines breaking off too easily, I left the canines as a part of the teeth set so they had to be molded the hard way. Previous ones were rolled on the table to keep the good round shape, but in trying to reattach the unbaked clay to the teeth set left it vulnerable to breaking off. Even putting a pin in the canine to help it stay in play better wasn't much help.
Sadly I don't like how the teeth set came out, but this is not for clients or even public use (as yet anyway) and just for helping the old fox to look better.
So I'll be gluing these in unless there is a gross error that would warrant not using them. For OldFedFox it's not important anyway. But for clients I need to keep practicing and working at it though for the most part I'll buy ones made by others since they can do molding and get them more professional looking.
