Yip, I've finally graduated! Even better, I've graduated AND I managed to somehow get a job... AT THE HOSPITAL I WAS DROOLING OVER!!! Words can't explain how thrilled I am at the moment! <3
The graduation part I earned but getting a new-grad job was pure luck. There is something stupid like 1000 nurses graduating where I live and only 250 or so managed to get the vital year-long contract that makes you a fully qualified registered nurse. The GFC is to blame for the shortage of jobs, of course.
Anyway, I haven't been this proud of myself in forever! <3

So what area am I going into? Heh, I have no idea! I was told the 'Division of Medicine' which rules out surgical and community roles but that could be anything from a specialized field to general acute illnesses. I'll let you all know when I find out. Also since today is 12/12/12 the Mayans had better be wrong! I'd suck only being a RN for a day.

Hmm, good question. Normally I'd say that it would start at the international date line and then continue onwards but the Mayans would have used.... whatever they used to make their dates, stars or the sun or something, so they would base it off where they were located. So yeah, Mayan time.
