this necklace/weapon is inspired by the traditional weaponry of my people, both beautiful and deadly. koa wood which is not traditionally a weapon wood, but is a beautiful wood that popular in decoration. it helps complete the illusion that this is just a simple necklace. the name wahamanohalua means "shark jaw that lays in wait." in reference to its being a weapon disguised as a necklace, that is on me and ready if i ever have to use it. these are tiger shark teeth, and are literally razor sharp, make no mistake this weapon can easily kill a man. and i did a 5 strand braid for the string.

yes this one is a major improvement on the last one. its a design of my own that is functional as a weapon, and a lot safer as a necklace. where as the last was a scaled down version of a traditional weapon that was meant to be decorative, but can (and has) injure the wearer because it is made to specs with real tiger shark teeth.
lol my dad cut his thumb open on the one i gave him, which is the same one i cut my hand on. with this one the teeth are all safely away from the wearers fingers.
yes i would love it if you came to visit, and i would be happy to show you how to make weapons of traditional raw materials. its good to hear from you, yes my name on skype is hawaiianstile1

They're a lot of fun, very economical, and will go many places off the beaten track that even a well equipped jeep will have trouble with. For me, the positives far outweigh the negatives. Probably not as much of a benefit on the islands though, lol!
Do you celebrate the holidays? Our family is atheist but we do a present-thing on xmas anyways for some reason. Also my mom really likes decorating.
