She was not meant to be Octavia. However, Octavia's coloration may have registered itself subconsciously. I actaully had that thought as some point, "Gee I wonder if she looks too much like Octavia". A similar coloration can be seen on Pinkie Pie's sister. Oh well. Great job on the mane and tail btw.
lol I've woken up thinking "I have to draw [x] character!" thinking it's completely original, something I thought up on my own, only to get it done and see something almost identical in the background on a site I frequent and I just groan >.< I like Star Shine's coloring though XD I personally don't like Octavia but I love Star Shine.
