The lyrics are what made the song for me though, seeing is that I never heard the original...I got the lyrics from  Lord_Meatball and built around them :3

Really amazing. I never heard of the group you're remixing, but I'm sure the original was great too. I've not heard many trance songs with lyrics, but I would love to hear more! I'm still trying to figure out what kind of message the song is trying to send...sure there are shades between black and white, but gray is an ugly color! X-D Full of interesting metaphors this is. And yes, the sound is incredible!

The main message is something along the lines of dont view everything as either one thing or another...theres things in between that matter too, like emotions :)

I listened to every step of this song man and again ... (even though it seems I tell you all the freaking time) I am so impressed that I can't really give you the proper credit you deserve.

The best way to describe how I feel is to toss you up on some tables in front of 200-300 people, have you spin this ... and see them freak out. Dancing, tossing their arms in the air ... bobbing their heads.

I do have I guess a Little bit of a question. For an aspiring dj/producer who would love to make his own music ... how would I go about getting a program like or similar to FL or any other programs you'd recommend. I'm not so good on the money situation. I do have a job so eventually after I get out of this rut if the price isn't to bad I "could" pick it up. What say you sir?

Well, I dont condone pirating, but if you simply must, I'd find a torrent of the program while you save up for something like FL Studio. They also have cheaper versions, but these versions lack alot of the good good stuff you get in the more expensive versions.

Melodyne is mainly used for vocals I think. As far as I know it's not a full blown synthesizer program, but merely a tool to do fine tuning.

Not exactly sure what it is lol. I was watching a VNV Nation DVD and Ronan said that he used it for some of his songs, so anytime I hear anything similar I ask if they've used it. Heh heh, the search continues!

I've played around with Fruity Loops a little bit, and hope to practice some more on it in the next few weeks when I get some free time. I'll probably get Kirron to help me out (I need it :p). Would you recommend any other (fairly cheap ;)) programs for somebody just starting out? I've been told I have a good ear for what sounds good with what, so I figure it's time I put my gift to use.

I'd defiantly only go with FL Studio. Its easiest to use once you get past its learning curve, and its easily upgradeable.

On top of that, many other cheaper DAW's are only sample based, or offer very limited abilities in the ways of piano rolling and VST insertion, etc.

If you really need to, go to Best Buy and pick up a cheap DAW from there :) Make sure it has a MIDI to USB cable so you can toss it into your keyboard and tinker around...its how I did it :)
