Gea Heptagon. This spider does not have a common name that I'm aware of.
It's a rather oddly shaped orb weaver. I inadvertently stumbled upon it in a small plant today while I was chasing a bee.

Hmm....do these appear in Europe? I remember a SIMILAR one lived in our attic... We practically grew accustom to it, it was in there for quite a long time (female, few days after we found her there we noticed a huge pile of baby spiders crawling all over the walls (yet they were adorable))
