i knit a teddy for my sister once and the instructions called for bean bag beads, but i couldnt get any so i spend hours breaking up the polystryne packaging off a kettle my mum bought and filled it with that lol. Did you hand sew this or use a machine? i remember my mum had a little handheld sewing machine that looked like travel hair straighteners lol
Oh, I've never heard about that. Some people use beans to make beanies (floppy plushies), but I think they're not bean bag beads but some kind of tough plastic pellets.
I sew the parts separately with a sewing machine, then I turn them inside out, fill them, and handsew everything together.
