I did see it! It was pretty good, I didn't love how they added Azog as an extra bad guy though, his name was only said once in the book after all, but other than that I have no complaints.

I did. I loved it really. there was a news article about them explaining why things were extended, can't remember where. What amazes me in the movie was the well planned action sequences, because Peter Jackson always creates complicated action sequences. Directors have there ways. Like Transformers Dark of the Moon. Remember the building collapse. Director Michael Bay hatched that idea by doing pull ups XD. Anyway, I also hope for this film to get some Oscar nominations in for a few things like the VFX and make up.

p.s. Frodo looks like he hasn't aged a bit XD

Jackson is very good at planning action sequences. I haven't seen Transformers Dark of the Moon so I wouldn't know about it :p

And yes, Frodo still looks as young (and sexy) as ever! Although, was it just me or did he look way too thin?
