It looks x100 better in real life. I should really bring my portfolio (not just the CD, but the REAL materials) to my evaluators later on next year and into the future.
This took around 16-20 hours in elapse time, started since July 2012.

I feel like I could get lost for hours just staring at it. And there are stories hidden in there. Like the glowing bauble just left of center, and the spooky trees growing out of the lake (or are they tenticular? no leaves, and have something near the end that resemble snail eyestalks...). As I'm reading E.R. Burroughs' Venus series right now, I can see this place being in that otherworldly forest where Carson and Duare get lost. Of course, there would be no moon there, but it fits otherwise. :)
