These doodles are super cute
If it helps here's an overly generalized break down of demeanor, that I've experienced.
Males love girls. Legitimately. Males hate guys, they will bite and draw blood on them.
Be the first to bond with it and it's your friend forever.
(Though overly attached negative behavior is something that can sometimes happen)
Girls can be the flip flopping type and outwardly I've only seen them be really nasty.
They can turn into nothing more than egg laying factories.
Girls are more sensitive to take care of because when they lay eggs they're in a
sensitive motherly state and are usually pretty exhausted most of the time afterwards.
Generally girls are more work to get to trust you and to understand them.
If you get a girl you should look into female birds and egg laying.
(If you didn't already know, or didn't already look this up)
Hope it helps

I've researched every bit that I could already about them so I'm aware of pretty much everything? o u o (I don't take interest in getting a new pet lightly). But I've been 100% that I want a male from the beginning~ I want a younger one so I can have it get used to both me and my boyfriend (in case we're living together someday)
Cockatiels can talk. No they're not clear like a larger bird but more like how my brother's cat can say uh-oh or that dog on youtube saying I love you.
And I've had noisy birds before~
I want to get a male preferebly from a breeder (if I can find one around here!)/ so he's finger trained.

I've never ever heard one talk. :P
and yeah, the noise. So much of it. So much fun.
I got a 5 year old female cockatiel [now 7] two years go. She's hilarious.
She's become attached to the presence of my mother because she spends most of her time on the couch, so whenever my mother leaves the bird freaks out. Like, completely nuts.
