As part of a project on my animation course, i need to do a number of pencil tests and other sketches.
This Pencil test is to demonstrate that i understand the principle of motion, took a while to do but im really happy that it worked :D
There were guide lines and other helpful bits on the paper that i used at first but i tidied them up when i had finished all 15 frames, wondering if i should have left them @_@
Pictures were taken with my webcam cos my camera ran out of battery power and im too lazy to run out to the shop to buy some X3
15 frames, animated in Flash, 12 fps (Frames Per Second)
Right, back to work, i need to do 2 - 3 more animations and put it all to CD by 5pm tomorrow >.<
Enjoy :D
=^w^=
Edit - Made bigger so that it was more visible

Pretty good. :) I like how the tail sort of suddenly twitches up and down.
I think there is a good sense of motion, yes.
That back leg, further back, looks a little thin sometimes. *shrugs*
I think the head bobbing and turning to the right a little helps with the feel of it moving. Huh, I kind of notice the tail moving left and right (relative to the dinosaur's "left" and "right") as it runs, too - kind of rocking with its steps.

thanks :3
gonna be sorting the back leg out wen i re-draw it. the front leg moves slower than the back leg which i need to sort too.
"tail needs to flick a bit more" is what i was told be my head lecturer when i went in this morning to ask if i could have an extension to the project deadline for today, now ive got till the end of the christmas holiday :D 3 extra weeks, yay! lol X3
