Am I worried he'll see this? Naaah. He always asks me to comment on his reviews and what he posts, which I frequently do, but I cannot recall the last time he actually posted a comment. Which sucks because in spite of his trying to make me feel like crap due to my beliefs, he's actually pretty insightful.

I do find that the politics in the US is much more volatile than my own in Canada. I've un-friended people because of the negative campaigning on Facebook (they weren't very close friends anyways) and it came from both sides. What gets me is that a lot of people say they hate the politicians running dirty campaigns and yet many people are doing the dirty work for them. I'm somewhat surprised the country hasn't broken apart in a new civil war.
There's no party that suits me. Maybe it has something to do with most of them behaving like naughty children in a playground, calling the other side names. But even with the decisions that are made, there are some that are too extreme in one way or the other. Nobody seems to to find a sensible middle that actually helps people. There doesn't seem to be much (if any) comprimise to help anyone, but the politicians and their friends. I swear it's worse if you insult someone because of political beliefs down there than it is to insult their religion.
