Yes, I draw the design first with a metal crow quill pen dipped in thinned china paint. Then it is fired. Then I paint on the first layer of color. Then it will be fired again. Repeat as many times as nescesary to get the color as deep as I want it. Each mug is an original work of art...no decals or transfer designs!
