It's basically the same word in German, without the "I" at the end though :) and yes, I've been told several times that we Germans sound like we have an argument when we are just talking xD

well keks doesnt sound like a word at all anymore, just a pile of hard letters =P
and by saying 'speak more monotone' when people are trying to learn to pronounce finnish, it always works! and depressed is kind of a country thing, theres always exceptions but majority sound depressed.
