The fourth member of Team Fuego, Ferris is something of a minor celebrity, though he'd never admit it. He's not even really sure what all the fuss is about.

What got everyone's attention was the event happened on his 15th birthday; he evolved on that day, but that wasn't too noteworthy. However, the fact that he somehow skipped a step and went straight from a tiny Dratini to a huge Dragonite certainly was. A one in a million occurance, nobody has been able to really explain what caused it. Ferris just thinks Arcaeus heard him wishing on a falling star the night before.

The Aderyn family quickly found themselves the center of attention as a result of their son's "miracle", some of that attention coming in the form of a scholarship offer from his father's employer, Fuego Ironworks. Feeling that Ferris was meant for something special and deserved a chance to get away from all the (frankly unwanted) attention from everyone in the region, they quickly accepted.

Despite being well over 7' tall now and able to fly (something he quickly mastered and came to love), Ferris is still a bit shy and soft-spoken like he was before evolving. He isn't really that much for battling but he still tries his hardest for his teammates, taking on the role of air support. And while his attacks aren't exactly the most dangerous or fearsome, just having this huge fellow constantly swooping around overhead, doing maneuvers that would put the most experienced stunt pilots to shame, is enough to make most teams quickly revise their strategies.
