what a windy day... raining clay...
...but my models are prepared for this!
here you can see the almost done ( 98%) Dagger C-419, still waiting the "9" of the identification. Configurated as in its first times in Argentina (notized the lack of the shield of the Grupo 6 de Caza and the white surface in the tail) and with a very heavy war charge of 12 bombs of 125 kgs (without any doubt to be used against chile* in 1978, rarely our planes used so many bombs at same time) and, incredibly, with the decal of the FUERZA AEREA ARGENTINA intact O_o rarely happends, as you can see in the other 2 planes XD
The C419 founds its end in its first combat mission in Malvinas War against the United Kingdom, being shooted down by the Sea Harrier XZ457 of the Lt. Cdr Andy AUld, using a AIM-9L Sidewinder . The Pilot, the Lt. Carlos Castillo , died in combat May 24th 1982
the other two planes are the C-413 ( configurated with 2 Shafriri missiles and 2 extra fuel tanks in a Air Superiority mission ) and C-415 ( Configurated with 2 bombs and 3 extra fuel tanks in an anti ship mission ) . the 415 is still in service ( O_o ) and the 413 was lost in september 14th 1995 in an accident, pilot ejected safely
you can see the clay in the nose of the C419...is raining over us now
