Well if I'm playing a first person shooter I always use keyboard and mouse it was like WOW I can actually play shooting games now when I first tried it. But Castle Crashers is a game that is really made for the controller I was really struggling to play it with out one, its damn near impossible!
Well I was still pretty crap at shooters for quite some time, hence why I avoided them, but between the more forgiving mechanic of regenerating health and some slight refinement of my motor skills with age I manage to hold my own. Still, can often depend on the game, clunky controlls are still clunky controlls, regardless of skill or interface.
