He was hit by a car and left in his previous home's back yard for a week before anyone thought to take him to the vet. His eye had been knocked clean out of the socket, and since it had been so long, there was no saving it.
His previous owners couldn't afford the bill, so they signed him over to the clinic, where I work. I took Jack home to foster and my parents fell in love. He's a happy little guy now, much different from the scared, no-formed-personality little guy he was when I first met him. He's quirky. He is around ten years old or so.
