Working on my Sailor Moon fan character image (which can be seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9436711/ ), and I always have to do the backgrounds first so everything looks proper. Problem with doing pretty backgrounds though is when characters cover them up. So got the background from the image I'm working on and changed it up a bit so it's something surreal to look at. Celestial bodies of choice are those of my scouts, so Quaoar (Planet X), the "dark side" of the Moon, Earth and the Sun. And then got bored, went more nuts so to make columns going towards the focal point since that is just a fun feature of visual direction I like to play with from time to time. Voila, space thing!
