"Oink-oink, suie, yippie-yo kai yay! Pig powa in da house!"

Vortex is a member of the skunk Zoria Qumica's team of supervillains. It's themed to the "six senses", and he loosely represents "taste", as his power is sucking in opponents through his mouth and trapping them - alive - in his stomach. (Zoria prefers her prisoners alive and well so they can be converted to evil by The Mind-Eating Lion).

Vortex is one of those quiet ones that you have to watch out for. He *can* talk, but he's more likely to grunt or mockingly lick his chops, and then eat you.

This is the "stats" version. I'll probably do one with a background, and a follow-up where he's actually using his powers.

I wound up drawing him next because a mention of him on the stats of my chameleon villainess seemed to generate some interest.

As mentioned, one drawback is that his vortex is so powerful, he might accidentally suck in his own teammates (which, even if he doesn't wind up eating them, can be rather distracting.) Also, it's possible that induced choking or a very strong heimlich maneuver could cause him to eject his prisoners, but it would have to be VERY strong, because as you can see, his tummy is quite a stronghold :).

That's an illustration of a black hole on his uniform, symbolising the actual vortex within. The bolts on the metal part of his uniform were probably inspired by the design of Mammoth from the Teen Titans cartoon.
