BBW Fox (1 of 3) Big Is Beautiful
No fat remarks. I happen to think big girls are beautiful. It's the way they carry themselves and the way they look, act, and dress that makes them appealing. So, yeah, she's a big girl, but she's also beautiful!

Lightwave is pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Actually, when I upgrade my computer I'm going to move to 3DS max for fur. The fur there is absolutely gorgeous. I've seen people try to make fur in Poser as well. The hair room makes things too shiny. >.< (I also tried that a couple times.)
hm.. with a bit practice it is ok ;3
yes this tool is in a beta status but GREAT!

That's pretty crazy. I wonder how hard it will run people's computers though. I know Posers hair room kills my computer. So, I quit trying to use that after a while. A few people wanted me to explain how to use it, but ugh... It didn't work right. Hopefully, Daz does it the right way.
Oh, yeah, it is. It just takes a while, and since I don't really use Daz or Poser for anything learning it isn't a big priority. Although, I try to help others out to learn things like that. (I like to try to help others who want to get in to 3D, and since I started 3D with Poser way back when... I think these programs are a great jumping off point.)
Lightwave is good, but I learned it in college. I've been told it's a hard program to use, but I've never had a problem with it. The only thing that annoys me sometimes is that it has a modeler program and a layout program and you have to switch between the two. But other than that I love it. And nothing wrong with using Daz Studio or anything like that. I say go with what comes easiest. A lot of people use Blender since it's free. But I never had any success using it since I can't get used to it's setup.
I've always found the fur effects from the hair room in poser to be pretty poor... you need an insane number of hairs for decent coverage, at least I do when I try furring a Melody. The memory reqs ramp up pretty fast when you play around in there, then its got to be manualy styled to look halfway decent, its just a pain. Of course, I could be doing it all wrong...
The poser hair room is awful. I agree the requirements ramp up so quick that I can't ever use it for anything. Not even hair on the top of someone's head. >.< For some reason it also looks too shiny and false to me. Of course, I could be messing with it wrong too, but I just re-rigged Melody for Lightwave to make it easier on myself. But I make a ton of changes to her every time I use her.
